Pues una vez ha recorrido toda la retina, diré que no, que no es malo, para nada malo, que vaya subidón de tinieblas me acabo tragar, que vaya paseo por el lado salvaje, tengo sobredosis de frontera para rato. Me toco el cuello, no sangra, sigo en Madrid, todo en orden, a salvo, no en medio de una ciudad sin ley en donde una vez traspasado el umbral de nada sirve el consejo (siquiera el de un abogado sabio como Machado).  Había leído tantas cosas antes de ver, leído tanto antes de sumergirme, tanta cosa… Pero es inevitable, si detrás están Blade Runner, Alien el 8º Pasajero, Gladiator y Thelma y Louis, que te exijan. Es una prerrogativa volver al lugar en donde la realidad fue transfigurada por primera vez.¿Por qué ya no?¿Por qué no nos arrastras hasta el abismo del cinemascope otra vez? ¡Queremos universos de ciencia! ¡Ficción! ¡Aliens!¡Replicantes!¡Mujeres a puntito de saltar al vacío! Bueno, esta vez ha estado muy cerca de sus orígenes, pero que muy cerca. Qué si en dónde se ha dejado el genio Rydley, que si alguna vez tuvo talento este director, que si la película está repleta de diálogos exuberantes y empalagosos que no dicen nada, que no sirven pa na, que al proclamarlos sus protas semejan personajes de feria pagados de sí mismos de una obra de Shakespeare barata, (pero es que McCarthy aunque no es Shakespeare es un grande en esto de juntar palabras), que si Cameron Díaz es la única que merece la pena en todo el metraje, que si ha realizado una interpretación descomunal, más allá de cualquier canon, etc. Pues una vez pasada por el ojo, diré que pamplinas, múltiples pamplinas, a Brian de Palma por esa regla de tres también le pueden acusar de inútil si quieren, si tienes a un escritor de guionista y no quieres diálogos interesantes, profundos, estudiados, apaga y vámonos, que si un actor no puede hablar con criterio desde Shakespeare, pues na, que todo sea fuck you y punto. Y bueno sí, Cameron está como nunca, pero Pitt es la viva encarnación del dandy del narcotráfrico, Bardem se re-inventa de nuevo con un personaje de esos mágicos suyos, eclécticos, viscerales, únicos, Penélope española y beautiful, y Fassbender, el abogado, está en su línea impecable, tan creíble que te arrastra a ciudad Juarez desde la cómoda butaca, y no encuentro a otro actor ni remotamente parecido en el panorama actual. ¿Ha nacido un nuevo Steve Mcqueen?
